Strabismus is when your eyes don't line up correctly, sometimes called \"crossed eyes.\" Researchers will use an electrocardiograph (a device that records your heart's electrical activity) to monitor your heart rate when doctors gently pull on your eye muscles during surgery. This is to understand the oculocardiac reflex, which is when eye manipulation affects your heart rate. The study is looking for 4000 participants aged 1 month to 100 years who are having eye manipulation or strabismus surgery. You cannot join if you have anophthalmia (absence of one or both eyes). The main goal is to measure the percentage change in heart rate caused by this reflex, specifically 30 seconds after the eye muscle is pulled.","The primary outcome is measured at 30 seconds after the oculocardiac reflex is elicited.",128,"If you participate, your vital signs and anesthetic variables, including heart rate, will be monitored before, during, and after your eye surgery.","Not stated in the trial record.",[31],"v2"]
