The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of Band Connect, a connected health platform, in enhancing compliance with home exercise programs among patients undergoing physical therapy. This study aims to evaluate the implications of increased compliance on improving patient engagement and increasing satisfaction for both patients and clinicians. If you're having total shoulder replacement (arthroplasty) or rotator cuff repair surgery performed by Dr. Robert Gillespie at University Hospitals, you might be able to join. Band Connect is a platform that helps you do your physical therapy exercises at home. Researchers want to see if using Band Connect helps you complete more of your home exercises, makes you happier with your recovery, and improves your overall experience.
