The study will assess whether dyed sutures to elicit increased tissue reactivity like redness, itching, and scarring and whether undyed sutures may be more optimal for wound healing and cosmetic response. Enrollment into the study and data collection is expected to take approximately 3-6 months. Follow-up visits will be chosen at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 3 months post-surgery, which is standard practice for monitoring healing and checking for complications such as infection or abnormal scarring.\n\nPrimary Objective - The primary objective is to assess the response of wounds closed with both dyed and undyed sutures after cutaneous surgery to determine if there is a difference in wound healing and tissue reactivity with one compared to the other.\n\nEnrollment into the study and data collection is expected to take approximately 3-6 months. Follow-up visits will be chosen at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 3 months post-surgery, which is standard practice for monitoring healing and checking for complications such as infection or abnormal scarring.",null,[19,20],"Wound Closure","Suture Materials",[],"INTERVENTIONAL","TREATMENT",[25],"NA",{"count":27,"type":28},50,"ESTIMATED",[30,36],{"type":31,"name":32,"description":33,"armGroupLabels":34},"DEVICE","Polyglactin 910 (Dyed)","Half the wound for each participant will be sutured using Polyglactin 910 suture dyed (violet) with colorants such as D\\&C Violet No. 2 present.",[35],"Dyed Sutures",{"type":31,"name":37,"description":38,"armGroupLabels":39},"Polyglactin 910 (Undyed)","Half the wound for each participant will be sutured using Polyglactin 910 suture Undyed",[40],"Undyed Sutures",[42,46,48,50,53,54,55,58,59,61,64,65,66,69,70,71,74,75,76,79,80,81,84,85,86,89,90,91,94,95,96,99,100,101,104,105,106,109,110,111,114,115],{"measure":43,"description":44,"timeFrame":45},"Clinical Erythema Assessment scale","Erythema will be assessed on both sides of the surgical wound using a 0-4 Clinical Erythema Assessment scale: 0 = clear, 1 = almost clear, 2 = mild, 3 = moderate, 4 = severe with 0 being the better outcome and 4 the worst.","2 weeks post-procedure",{"measure":43,"description":44,"timeFrame":47},"4 weeks post-procedure",{"measure":43,"description":44,"timeFrame":49},"3 months post-procedure",{"measure":51,"description":52,"timeFrame":45},"Presence of Hypertrophic Scarring","Percentage of the presence of hypertrophic scarring.
