It plans to include 40 participants.","completed","Observational Study on Skin Carotenoids and Immune Aging","This observational study is looking at the connection between the levels of carotenoids (natural pigments found in plants that can be stored in your skin) and how your immune system ages. Researchers want to see if there's a link between how much carotenoid is in your skin and different aspects of immune health. They will measure your skin carotenoid levels and features of skin aging. You might be able to join if you are a healthy individual between 18-30 years old or 65 years and older, with any skin type. People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have uncontrolled medical conditions, cannot participate.
