Physiological Brain Atlas Development for Neurological Conditions

This observational study aims to create a detailed map, or "atlas," of the brain. This atlas will combine physiological information (how your brain functions) with anatomical locations (where things are in your brain) using MRI scans. The goal is to help doctors better understand and treat conditions like Parkinson's Disease, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Dystonia, Essential Tremor, and Epilepsy. By collecting data from many patients undergoing stereotactic brain procedures (precise brain surgeries), researchers hope to improve how these procedures are performed and how treatments are tailored to individuals. You may be eligible if you are between 6 and 90 years old and are recommended for or have agreed to a stereotactic brain procedure.

Study design
This is an observational study with a planned enrollment of 5000 participants. It is not a randomized or blinded study.

All patients who are recommended for Stereotactic Brain procedures
Any patient who has agreed to undergo a Stereotactic Brain procedure
Patients age under 6 -90 years old

Exclusion

Patients who fail recommendation for Stereotactic Brain procedures
Patients not consented for Stereotactic Brain procedures
Patients outside the age range of 6 -90 years old
Patients or legal guardians not able to provide informed consent
