Targeted Therapies for Progressive Meningioma
This study is looking at how well four different medications — vismodegib, FAK inhibitor GSK2256098, capivasertib, and abemaciclib — work in treating meningioma that is growing or getting worse. These medicines may stop tumor growth by blocking certain enzymes. To join, you must have a meningioma that has been confirmed by a pathologist and have specific genetic changes (mutations) in your tumor, such as in the SMO, PTCH1, NF2, CDKN2A, AKT1, PIK3CA, or PTEN genes. The study wants to see if these treatments can stop your tumor from growing for at least 6 months and if they can shrink your tumor. This study is currently recruiting 124 participants.
