Mayo Clinic Upper Digestive Disease Survey for Esophageal Conditions
This observational study, called the Mayo Clinic Upper Digestive Disease Survey, is for people with esophageal cancer or those who have had surgery for esophageal reconstruction. The study aims to create and validate questionnaires to consistently evaluate patients' experiences and outcomes. You can participate by completing surveys on paper at your follow-up visits if you're a Mayo Clinic patient, or through the "Upper Digestive Disease (UDD Monitor) App" if you're a Mayo Clinic or non-Mayo Clinic patient. The main goal is to see how many patients complete these surveys at different times after surgery. The study is currently recruiting and plans to enroll 1000 participants.
