PET Brain Imaging in Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer's Disease
This study is looking for people aged 18 to 85 with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or Alzheimer's Disease (AD), as well as healthy volunteers. Researchers want to understand how inflammation in the brain, called microglial activation, is involved in these conditions. You would receive a special brain scan called a PET scan using either [F-18]PBR06 or [C-11]PBR28, which are special imaging agents. The main goal is to see where and how much microglial activation is present in people with MS and AD compared to healthy individuals. This will help us learn more about these diseases. The study is currently recruiting participants.

- This interventional study plans to enroll 250 participants across four groups: active Relapsing Remitting MS, Secondary Progressive MS, mild Alzheimer's Disease, and healthy controls.
