Pancreatic Cancer Screening for High-Risk Individuals
This observational study is looking for people aged 50 to 90 who have a strong family history of pancreatic cancer or certain genetic mutations (like BRCA1, BRCA2, ATM, PALB2, or CDKN2A). The main goal is to find pancreatic cancer or early warning signs (precursor lesions) at an early stage. You would receive annual MRI/MRCP (Magnetic Resonance Imaging/Magnetic Cholangiopancreatography) scans, which use magnets and radio waves to create detailed pictures of your pancreas. Researchers are also collecting blood samples to help develop a new blood test for pancreatic cancer. The current recruitment status is unclear.
