This observational study aims to create a collection of blood samples from people with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), a group of conditions that cause scarring in the lungs. Researchers will collect 100 cc of blood (about 6-7 tablespoons) from 250 ILD patients, including those with IPF, fibrotic NSIP, and sarcoidosis, among others. They will also collect blood from 25 healthy volunteers and 100 people with pneumonia to compare with the ILD samples. The goal is to build a resource for future studies that will look for markers in the blood to help manage ILD. You may be able to join if you are 18 or older and have been diagnosed with ILD, another fibrotic lung disease, or pneumonia, and are willing to provide a blood sample.
