Morning Bright Light Therapy for Sleep in Veterans
This study is looking at whether morning bright light therapy can improve sleep quality in Veterans, especially those who have experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Many Veterans with TBI struggle with sleep problems like insomnia. Researchers want to see if 60 minutes of bright light therapy (10,000 lux) each morning, within 90 minutes of waking, can help. The study will measure changes in your insomnia severity over 4 weeks of treatment and then 2 months after treatment ends. You can join if you are a Veteran, 18 years or older, and do not have bipolar disorder, macular degeneration, or currently use a light box. The current status of this study is unclear.
