Study on Thoracic Epidural Catheter Fixation
This study is looking at different ways to secure a thoracic epidural catheter (a small tube placed in your back to deliver pain medicine). We want to see if Dermabond, a type of medical adhesive, works better than Mastisol or Grip-Lok, two commonly used methods, at keeping the catheter from moving. You may be able to join if you are having surgery and will receive a thoracic epidural, and are 18 years or older. We will measure how much the epidural catheter moves immediately after surgery, and then again 24 and 48 hours later. The current recruitment status is unclear.
