Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy for Post-operative Pain

This study is looking at whether a device called Endonovo SofPulse, which uses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), can help reduce pain after orthopedic (bone and joint) surgery. You might be able to join if you are at least 18 years old and are having shoulder or knee surgery. You also can't have taken certain pain medications (NSAIDs) for one week before your surgery, though low-dose aspirin is allowed. Researchers will measure your pain using a visual analog scale (VAS) and see how much pain medication you take. The study aims to see if PEMF therapy helps reduce pain 10 days after surgery.
