Virtual Reality During Regional Anesthesia

This study at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is looking at whether using a Virtual Reality (VR) headset, specifically the Oculus Go, can help reduce anxiety and pain during regional anesthesia procedures. You might be able to join if you are an adult between 18 and 64 years old, having an elective surgery, and receiving regional anesthesia. The study aims to see if pleasant, distracting visuals from the VR headset can make the procedure more comfortable. Success will be measured by changes in your anxiety and pain levels before and after the regional anesthesia, as reported by you through questionnaires. Study design
