Imaging Post-Stroke Recovery Using MEG

This observational study is looking at how the brain recovers after a minor stroke. Researchers want to understand why some people experience difficulties with attention, concentration, and processing speed even after a small stroke. They will use Magnetoencephalography (MEG), a special brain scan, to measure brain activity while you do a visual naming task. You would also complete the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA), a test of thinking skills. The study aims to see how brain activity changes over time to better understand recovery up to 12 months after a stroke. They are looking for adults aged 18 to 100 who have had a recent minor ischemic stroke and can speak English.

Study design
This is an observational study planning to include 55 participants. It compares people who have had a minor stroke with similar healthy individuals.
