High-resolution Phosphocreatine and Creatine Mapping of Human Muscle and Brain

This observational study is developing a new, non-invasive way to measure and image phosphocreatine (PCr) in your muscles and brain using standard MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machines. PCr is an important molecule for energy in your body, and changes in it can be linked to various diseases. Currently, there isn't a routine way to clearly see where PCr is distributed. This study aims to create such a method without using contrast agents. You may be able to join if you are a healthy adult between 18 and 80 years old, without a history of heart disease, diabetes, or walking difficulties. The study will be considered successful if it can accurately map PCr in muscle and brain. The current status of this study is unclear.
