Molecular Imaging for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

This study is looking for 10 participants with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a lung disease that causes scarring. Researchers want to see if special imaging scans, called PET/CT, using two substances called [F-18]FDG and [F-18]DPA-714, can help them understand lung inflammation and scarring in IPF. You would have two separate imaging sessions. The goal is to compare the results from these scans with your lung function tests to better understand IPF and potentially improve future treatments. To join, you must be between 40 and 85 years old and have an IPF diagnosis within the last five years.
