This study is looking at whether an 8-week stress reduction program can help reduce inflammation in the arteries (blood vessels) of people who have atherosclerosis (a condition where plaque builds up inside your arteries) and high levels of stress. The program uses mind-body techniques to help you learn how to identify and manage stress. Researchers will measure changes in arterial inflammation using a special imaging scan called a PET scan (positron emission tomography) after 2 months.
