This study aims to understand how inflammation in the brain is connected to the progression and different symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers are using several methods to measure these changes. You might receive injections of experimental drugs like 11C-ER176 to measure inflammation, and 18F-MK6240 to measure a protein called tau, both through special brain scans (PET scans). Another FDA-approved drug, 18F-Florbetaben, will measure amyloid in your brain. A lumbar puncture (spinal tap) will also be performed to check for inflammation markers in your spinal fluid. The study will measure these changes over up to 24 months. This study is for people aged 50 and over who have no cognitive impairment or have specific types of Alzheimer's disease, including those affecting memory, vision, or language.
