This study is looking at how Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) of two brain areas, the pedunculopontine nucleus (PPN) and the subthalamic nucleus (STN), affects attention, walking, and balance in people with Parkinson's disease. You might be able to join if you are between 18 and 75 years old, have had Parkinson's for at least 4 years, and experience tremors, motor complications, or gait instability with falls. The study will involve surgery to implant electrodes in your brain. Researchers will measure how STN-PPN stimulation affects your risk of falling over 27 months. The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 8 participants.
