Brain and Pelvic Floor Muscle Activity After Prostatectomy
This study is looking at brain and pelvic floor muscle activity in men who have had or are about to have robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) for prostate cancer. Researchers will use Electroencephalography (EEG), which measures brain waves, and Electromyography (EMG), which measures muscle activity, along with Urodynamics (UDS) to understand bladder function. You would also complete questionnaires. The goal is to identify how brain activity relates to the muscles that control bladder function, especially after surgery. This research could help us better understand and manage bladder control issues after prostate surgery. We are looking for 100 men to participate.
