This observational study, called KIDCOV, is looking at how COVID-19 (SARS-CoV Infection, Corona Virus Infection) might affect your kidneys, even if you had a mild case. Researchers want to understand if people who had COVID-19 develop new or worsening kidney injury (Acute Kidney Injury, Kidney Injury) over time. They will compare people who tested positive for COVID-19 with those who tested negative. You can join if you are 18 or older and had a PCR-based COVID-19 test in the last four weeks. The study will measure a 'KIT Score' from your urine over one year to see if kidney injury occurs. The goal is to better understand and prevent kidney damage after COVID-19.
