Motor Cortical Neuromodulation for Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome
This study is testing if repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can help women with Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). rTMS is a non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic fields to stimulate specific areas of the brain. Researchers believe that stimulating certain brain areas might help reduce pain and muscle activity in women with IC/BPS. You may be able to join if you are a woman at least 18 years old, have an IC/BPS diagnosis, and experience pelvic pain. The study will look at how much your pain changes over a shorter and longer period, and your overall response to the treatment. The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 50 participants.
