Exercise for Diabetic Foot Ulcer Healing
This study is looking at how a structured exercise program, given through a medically supervised cardiac rehabilitation program, affects the healing of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). You may be able to join if you have type 2 diabetes, are between 20 and 80 years old, and have a DFU that is WIfI Grade 2 or less (a system for classifying wound severity). Your blood sugar levels (HbA1c and blood glucose) and ankle-brachial index (ABI) or toe pressure (TcPO2) will also be checked. The main goal is to see if exercise helps wounds close faster, specifically by measuring the time it takes for the wound to heal completely. The study aims to enroll 60 participants.
