Intermittent Fasting for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD)

This study is looking at whether a special diet called time-restricted, intermittent fasting can help adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). NAFLD is a condition where too much fat builds up in your liver. This study focuses on people who have NAFLD but are not obese (BMI under 30kg/m2), sometimes called "lean NAFLD." You might be able to join if you are 18 or older, have a BMI between 23-30kg/m2, and have a confirmed diagnosis of NAFLD. Researchers will measure your liver fat content at the beginning and after 6 weeks to see if the diet makes a difference. The study plans to enroll 25 participants, but its current status is unclear.

Study design
This is an interventional study, meaning participants will receive a specific intervention (time-restricted, intermittent fasting). It plans to enroll 25 participants.
What's involved
Participants will follow a special diet for 6 weeks. Liver fat content will be measured at the start and end of this period.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Participants will be followed for 6 weeks, with liver fat content measured at the end of this period.
