This study is looking at how musculoskeletal injuries (injuries to muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons) affect the quality of life and happiness of young gymnasts. Researchers want to understand this by having gymnasts complete surveys called Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) at their first visit for an injury, again up to three months later, and when they are cleared to return to their sport. You might be able to join if you are a male or female gymnast between 8 and 18 years old, participate in Excel or Developmental gymnastics, and have a musculoskeletal injury that brings you to Children's Hospital Colorado sports medicine or orthopedic clinics. The study aims to enroll 1218 participants.
