T Cell Therapy for COVID-19 Prevention After Stem Cell Transplant

This study is testing a treatment called coronavirus-specific T cell (CST) therapy to see if it can safely prevent SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) infection in people who have recently had a hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). These patients often have weakened immune systems. You would receive CSTs, which are special immune cells from your stem cell donor, to help your body fight off the virus. The study is looking for serious side effects from the infusion, severe graft-versus-host disease (a condition where donor cells attack your body), and severe inflammatory reactions within 45 days of receiving the CSTs. This study is open to people aged 2 to 80 years old who are between 28 days and 4 months after their HSCT and have not tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The study is currently recruiting participants.

Study design
