Error-enhanced Learning & Recovery in Stroke

This study is looking at how errors can help people recover movement after a stroke. If you've had a stroke at least 8 months ago, are 18 or older, and have some arm weakness (hemiparesis) with shoulder and elbow movement, you might be able to join. Researchers will have you use a robotic arm to reach for targets, sometimes with "Error Fields" (where the robot gently pushes your arm off course) and sometimes without. The main goal is to measure how much your reaching accuracy (Perpendicular Error) changes after about an hour of these exercises. The study aims to understand how making errors during these tasks can lead to better movement ability, which could help create personalized therapy plans in the future.
