Chinese American Cancer Survivors Writing Study
This study is for Chinese American cancer survivors and is testing different types of writing activities to see if they can help with emotional well-being. You would participate in one of three writing groups: Expressive Helping (emotional disclosure and peer support writing), Expressive Writing (emotional disclosure writing), or Factual Writing (writing facts about cancer treatment). The study aims to see how many people join, how many stay in the study, and how many complete the writing sessions. To join, you need to be between 18 and 80 years old, prefer speaking Mandarin or Cantonese, and be able to read and write Chinese. You also need to be within five years of finishing your main cancer treatment or still taking medication for cancer-related symptoms. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status.
