iBCI Optimization for Veterans With Paralysis

This study is testing a mobile neural decoding platform (mobile iBCI) for Veterans who have paralysis due to conditions like spinal cord injury, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), or stroke. The goal is to make this brain-computer interface more accurate and reliable for independent use at home with computers and mobile devices. Researchers will evaluate how well the mobile iBCI performs in a cursor task. You may be able to join if you are between 18 and 80 years old, have little or no functional use of your arms and legs, and are already participating in the BrainGate clinical trial (NCT00912041). The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 2 participants.
