It compares two treatments: accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI), which is radiation delivered to the area where the tumor was removed, or endocrine therapy (hormone therapy) using drugs like tamoxifen, anastrozole, exemestane, letrozole, fulvestrant, or toremifene for up to 5 years.
