MRI-based Muscle Assessment for Liver Transplant Candidates

This study is looking at how muscle health, specifically using a Muscle Assessment Score (MAsS) from an MRI scan, might be linked to problems and survival rates in people with end-stage liver disease who are waiting for a liver transplant. The study will add MAsS to a standard MRI scan you would already be getting. Researchers want to see if this score can predict adverse outcomes (unwanted medical events) and mortality (death) one year after the assessment. You can join if you are an adult (18 or older) with end-stage liver disease who is being evaluated for a liver transplant and are already scheduled for an MRI scan as part of that evaluation. The study aims to enroll 100 participants.
