Noninvasive Brain Stimulation for Reading Disability
This study is looking at new ways to help adults with reading difficulties. It's testing non-invasive brain stimulation (tACS) to see if it can improve reading comprehension. There are three groups: one gets a sham (inactive) device, one gets real stimulation to the left angular gyrus (RLN), and another gets stimulation to both the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and left angular gyrus (RLN and CCN). Researchers will measure changes in reading comprehension on standardized tests over 12 months. You might be able to join if you are right-handed, a native English speaker, between 18 and 40 years old, and have a reading disability.
