Observational Study of Pediatric Cardiovascular Disease

This study aims to better understand and treat heart conditions in children. Researchers will collect blood samples from children with congenital heart disease (heart problems present at birth) or other heart diseases. These blood samples will be used to create special cells called induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and to analyze your DNA. iPSCs are like blank slate cells that can be grown into different types of heart cells in the lab, helping scientists study how heart conditions develop and test new treatments. Analyzing your DNA will help identify genetic changes linked to these conditions. The study is looking for 300 participants and will follow the research for up to 10 years to improve our understanding of pediatric cardiovascular disease.
