Engage & Connect: A Psychotherapy for Postpartum Depression
This study is testing two types of therapy for postpartum depression (PPD), a type of depression that can happen after childbirth. One therapy is called Engage & Connect (E&C), which helps you get involved in social activities that you find rewarding. The other therapy is Symptom Review and Psychoeducation (SRP), which teaches you about PPD and helps you track your symptoms. Both therapies are given remotely (from a distance). Researchers want to see if E&C can help reduce your depression symptoms more than SRP. You might be able to join if you are a woman up to one year after giving birth, have a certain score on a PPD screening, and speak English. You also need to be off antidepressants or on a stable dose.
