Glecaprevir/Pibrentasvir for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
This study is looking into whether a medication called glecaprevir/pibrentasvir (GLE/PIB) can help improve symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). GLE/PIB is already approved to treat hepatitis C, and some people taking it for hepatitis C have also seen their PTSD symptoms get better. This trial wants to see if GLE/PIB works for PTSD even when someone doesn't have hepatitis C. You might be able to join if you are between 19 and 70 years old, weigh at least 45 kg, have a PTSD diagnosis, and are eligible for Veterans Affairs healthcare. The study will measure changes in your PTSD symptoms using a special scale (CAPS-5) after 8 weeks to see if the treatment is successful. The current status of this study is unclear.
