Early Daily Activities After Wrist Fracture
This study is looking at whether doing daily activities (ADLs) early after a distal radius fracture (a common wrist fracture) helps with recovery. You would be in one of two groups: one group gets instructions on early ADL participation and cast care, while the other only gets cast care instructions. Both groups receive video and handout materials. Researchers will measure your hand function using the Michigan Hand Questionnaire at the start, then at 6 and 9 weeks. This study is for English-speaking adults over 18 with a recent wrist fracture treated with a cast, who don't have certain neurological or cognitive issues. The study is currently recruiting participants.
