Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) for Lymphoma Patients in Texas Community Centers
This study is looking at how useful and practical it is to collect cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from lymphoma patients in community centers across Texas. cfDNA is DNA that travels freely in your blood and can be easily collected with a simple blood draw from your vein. Researchers want to see if cfDNA can help identify changes in your cancer and detect any remaining disease after treatment. The main goal is to see how long patients live overall (Overall Survival). You may be able to join if you are at least 18 years old, have diffuse large B-cell lymphoma requiring treatment, and can provide written consent. The study plans to enroll 517 participants.
- Study design
- This interventional study plans to enroll 517 participants with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It is designed to test the feasibility and clinical utility of cell-free DNA.
- What's involved
- You would have blood samples taken to collect cell-free DNA (cfDNA) before and after your lymphoma treatment.
- Compensation
- Not stated in the trial record.
- Follow-up
- Your overall survival will be measured through study completion, which is an average of 1 year.
