Sovateltide for Acute Ischemic Stroke

This study is looking at a drug called Sovateltide to see if it can help people who have had an acute ischemic stroke. An ischemic stroke happens when a blood clot blocks blood flow to part of the brain. Researchers want to find out if Sovateltide is safe and effective in improving recovery for patients. You might be able to join if you are between 18 and 80 years old and have had an acute ischemic stroke. The main goal is to see if participants have a good recovery, measured by their ability to do daily activities, 90 days after receiving the treatment.

Study design
This is an interventional study planning to enroll 514 participants. It compares Sovateltide to normal saline (a saltwater solution) to assess its effectiveness.
What's involved
Not specified in the trial record.
