Investigating Cardiac Health of Adults With Trauma

This study is looking at how a healthy lifestyle program, called a "Lifestyle / Healthy Behavior Intervention," might help adults with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) improve their heart health. You might be able to join if you have PTSD symptoms and are overweight or don't get at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise five times a week. The study wants to see if this program can increase your physical activity over one year. Another group will receive standard care, which is psychotherapy. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to enroll 216 people.
