Pre-Treatment Physical Therapy for Vestibular Schwannomas

This study is looking at whether physical therapy before treatment (called PREHAB) helps patients with Vestibular Schwannomas (a type of non-cancerous brain tumor) who are having surgery or radiation. You could be eligible if you are 18 or older, have a Vestibular Schwannoma confirmed by MRI, and your tumor is 2.5 cm or smaller. The study will compare balance scores before and after treatment to see if PREHAB makes a difference. The study is currently recruiting 36 participants, but the overall status is unclear.

Study design
This is a pilot randomized study with 36 participants divided into four groups: PREHAB plus surgery, no PREHAB plus surgery, PREHAB plus radiosurgery, and no PREHAB plus radiosurgery.
