Understanding Lung Cancer Screening for Hispanic Smokers

This study aims to understand and improve lung cancer screening (LCS) for Hispanic current and former smokers. Researchers want to learn about challenges people face in identifying their smoking status and how an educational video, called "Educational Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) Video," delivered digitally can encourage more people to get screened. You might be able to join if you are 50-80 years old, are a current or former smoker (quit within 15 years or smoked for 20+ pack-years), are not currently getting lung cancer screening, and speak English or Spanish. The study hopes to reach 2000 participants and will measure how many people are contacted by the digital video link over three years.

Study design
This is an observational study, meaning researchers will observe and collect information without giving specific treatments. It aims to enroll 2000 participants.
What's involved
Participants will receive an educational video about lung cancer screening and complete brief, self-reported surveys afterwards.
Compensation
