mGlide-Care for Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure in Early Alzheimer's and MCI
This study is testing a new approach called mGlide-Care to help manage high blood pressure (HTN) in people aged 60 to 85 who have early-stage Alzheimer's disease (AD/ADRD) or mild cognitive impairment (MCI). mGlide-Care uses mobile health technology to help with self-monitoring and medication management. The study aims to see if mGlide-Care is better at controlling blood pressure compared to usual care with self-monitoring support. To join, you must have uncontrolled high blood pressure, an unpaid family caregiver, and be able to speak English. You or your caregiver also need a smartphone or mobile device. The researchers will measure how well blood pressure is controlled at 6 and 12 months.
