CCTA for Heart Disease Risk in Prostate Cancer Patients on ADT

This study is looking at how well a special type of scan, called Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), can detect heart disease in men with prostate cancer who are receiving or about to start androgen deprivation therapy (ADT). ADT is a treatment that lowers male hormones. CCTA is a highly accurate way to find plaque in your heart arteries. The study wants to see what proportion of participants have atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) detected by CCTA and how many would be eligible for treatment based on these CCTA results. This study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to enroll about 100 men.
