Observational Study of Body Surface Gastric Mapping for GI Symptoms in Children

This observational study is looking at how a Body Surface Gastric Mapping (BSGM) device can help understand stomach activity in children and young adults (ages 8-25) who have gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms. Researchers want to find out what patterns of stomach activity are linked to GI symptoms. You would have your stomach activity recorded for up to 4 hours using the BSGM device and keep a log of your symptoms. Control data will be used to compute normative data ranges for each key BSGM metric before and after the test meal: slow wave direction, pattern, velocity, frequency, and amplitude.
