TMS-fNIRS for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury

This study is testing a new way to personalize Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment for people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), with or without a mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). TMS is a non-invasive (no surgery) brain stimulation technology. The study uses a brain imaging technology called functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) to directly measure brain activity. This new method aims to improve how TMS is dosed, potentially making the treatment more effective. To join, you must be 18-70 years old, have a PTSD diagnosis, and be eligible for TMS treatment. The study will look at how TMS changes brain activity, as measured by fNIRS, over 3 to 33 months.
