Study of Protect Your Colon™ for Colorectal Cancer Screening

This study is testing an online tool called Protect Your Colon™ to see if it helps people get screened for colorectal cancer (CRC). Protect Your Colon™ teaches you about CRC screening and helps you understand the different test options. Researchers want to see if using this tool helps people choose a screening test that fits their needs and if more people actually complete screening. You might be able to join if you are 45 to 75 years old, haven't had CRC screening before or are not up-to-date, and are not at high risk for CRC. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status, but plans to enroll 184 participants. The main goal is to see how many people complete a CRC screening test within 6 months after using Protect Your Colon™.

Inclusion

Individuals 45 to 75 years old
No prior CRC screening or not up-to-date with CRC screening
Not at high risk for CRC (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease, colon polyposis syndromes, family history of CRC)
No prior colon polyps

Exclusion

Does not speak English
Does not have internet access
