This study is for people with Parkinson's Disease who are already receiving Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy. Researchers want to compare two different DBS settings to see how they affect Parkinson's symptoms. These settings are designed to activate different brain pathways (from Globus Pallidus to Pedunculopontine Nucleus, and vice versa) in different ways. To join, you must be between 18 and 85 years old, have a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, and have bilateral DBS in the STN or GP that was implanted at least three months ago. Your cognitive function will also be assessed. The study will look at changes in your Parkinson's symptoms using a scale called the MDS-UPDRS, measured at 1 hour and 2 weeks after starting each stimulation setting. The study plans to enroll 30 participants.
