Comparing PET/CT and Cardiac CT for Coronary Artery Disease

This study is looking at new ways to detect coronary artery disease (CAD), a condition where plaque builds up in the heart's arteries. Researchers want to compare a special type of scan called NaF-PET/CT with standard heart CT scans. They believe NaF-PET/CT might be better at finding early signs of plaque buildup. The study will involve 33 patients who are suspected of having CAD and are already scheduled for a heart CT scan. Eligibility criteria

Inclusion

Male or female patients
18 years or older
referred for coronary CT angiography because of suspected coronary heart disease (CHD) with stable symptoms

Exclusion

The patient has a history of coronary heart disease, defined by prior myocardial infarction or prior coronary artery revascularization.
Pregnancy.
Atrial fibrillation.
Morbid obesity defines as a body mass index of \>40.
The patient has any other clinically significant medical condition that in the opinion of the Investigator could impact the patient's ability to successfully complete the trial.
