Accelerated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for Schizophrenia Treated with Clozapine
This study is looking at whether a treatment called accelerated intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS), a type of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), can help improve thinking and memory skills in people with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder who are already taking clozapine. Researchers want to see if iTBS can boost these brain functions. You might be able to join if you are 18-50 years old, have schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, have been on clozapine for at least 4 months, and have tried at least two other antipsychotic medications without success. The study will measure changes in brain activity and how different parts of the brain connect to each other to see if iTBS is effective. The current status of this study is unclear.
